Barchetta opens beside the convention center
Omni Fort Lauderdale's new Italian chophouse adds waterfront dining and about 52 jobs.
Omni announced Barchetta's opening October 1 on the waterfront plaza beside its Fort Lauderdale hotel and the Broward County Convention Center. Executive chef David Caceres leads a menu of handmade pasta, seafood and steaks. The restaurant is at 1880 Southeast 17th Street. Omni says the opening adds approximately 52 jobs to the area.
