Mohawk starts construction with 300 rentals and street-level retail
Rilea Group's Wynwood project will connect NE 28th and 29th streets with a pedestrian passage lined by retail space.
The September 23 groundbreaking at 50 NE 29th Street starts work on two buildings with 300 rental apartments and 29,118 square feet of ground-floor retail. The plan includes an open-air passage between the streets. Coastal Construction is the contractor. Mohawk sits between Wynwood and Midtown, beside The Rider and The Boxer developments, adding another active construction project to that corridor.
