SoMi Walk seeks a buyer as student housing construction advances
Alta Development is offering the 673-bed South Miami project for sale while targeting student move-ins for fall 2028.
Alta Development says the foundation is complete and the 16-story tower is rising at 7090 SW 59th Place. Its September announcement offers the 173-unit property to qualified buyers, with pricing still to be determined. The developer targets a temporary certificate of occupancy in June 2028. The privately developed housing is near the University of Miami and South Miami Metrorail; it is not affiliated with the university.
