Sweetbird North breaks ground in the Design District
The eight-story building will add offices and about 22,500 square feet of ground-floor retail on NE 40th Street.
Dacra and Raycliff Capital celebrated the start of Sweetbird North on September 30. Designed by Snøhetta, the roughly 120,000-square-foot building combines office space with street-level retail. Its scale makes it a substantial addition to a neighborhood best known for shopping and restaurants. The groundbreaking starts the construction phase; the announcement does not establish an opening date for individual retail tenants.
