Sweetwaters opens on the New River
The group behind Rusty Pelican brings a 292-seat restaurant to Fort Lauderdale's Huizenga Park.
Sweetwaters has opened at 58 East Las Olas Boulevard, adding a substantial restaurant to the rebuilt Huizenga Park. Specialty Restaurants, the group behind Rusty Pelican, developed the venue with riverfront and park-facing outdoor seating. The concept combines seafood, cocktails and private-event space. Its opening was scheduled for October 12, and Visit Lauderdale confirmed the debut in its October update.
