Canelita closes its Miracle Mile shop
The cheesecake business has left its Coral Gables storefront while continuing online sales and listing other Miami locations.
Canelita Cheesecake has closed at 374 Miracle Mile, according to The Burn Miami's October 6 report. The bakery had only recently opened the Coral Gables storefront before announcing a move. Its current website continues to offer online ordering and lists addresses in Miami and Coconut Grove. The original report did not identify a replacement tenant for the Miracle Mile space.
A storefront closure does not necessarily mean that the underlying brand has stopped trading. Owners reviewing a small bakery's sales should separate walk-in demand, preorders and delivery before deciding what kind of premises it needs. Prospective tenants should confirm the lease and equipment situation directly rather than treating a closure report as an available listing.
