Cibeles opens a Basque-cheesecake shop in Coral Gables
The bakery has moved into an Almeria Avenue storefront with individual cheesecakes, whole cakes and other Spanish sweets.
Cibeles is welcoming customers at 333 Almeria Avenue in Coral Gables. The bakery's own site carries its October 8 opening announcement and subsequent store updates. Basque-style cheesecakes are the focus, with individual portions and larger formats in flavors including pistachio, guava and coconut. The online shop also lists Spanish sweets such as almond cake and turrón ice cream.
A signature product can make a small shop easier to understand and remember. Operators still need to balance individual purchases with whole-cake orders, production lead times and refrigerated storage. Measure sales by size and flavor before adding variations that tie up ingredients and display space.
