Imoto completes the Buccan group's Coral Gables lineup
Clay Conley's Japanese and Asian restaurant joins Buccan and its sandwich shop at the Miracle Mile property.
Imoto is now open beside Buccan at 100 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. Chef Clay Conley's menu combines sushi and sashimi with dumplings, tempura and teppanyaki dishes. The opening follows the group's Buccan restaurant and sandwich shop at the same property, bringing a third dining format to its expansion from Palm Beach. The restaurant's official site is accepting reservations.
Multiple concepts at one address need distinct reasons for a guest to choose each one. Owners should map the occasions, price points and reservation demand separately, even where purchasing or management is shared. Shared overhead can help, but it should not obscure whether each outlet covers the resources it uses.
