Islander Resort changes hands after renovation

Loci Capital and HHM Hotels sold the 139-room Islamorada resort after renovating rooms, dining spaces and outdoor amenities.

SoldReported Oct 27, 2026

Loci Capital and HHM Hotels announced the sale of the 22-acre Islander Resort in Islamorada. The 139-room property includes 114 oceanside bungalows and 25 bayside townhomes. During their ownership, the partners renovated the accommodations, added the Drift oceanfront restaurant and secured entitlements for future expansion. The buyer and sale price were not disclosed, and the announcement did not identify an operating change for guests.

Our read

A sale can bring new capital or a new operating plan, but neither is confirmed here. Employees, vendors and neighboring operators should watch for a management announcement, planned renovations and any change to Drift. Investors can separate the value of the current operation from the value of approved future expansion.
