Lira House plans a Coral Gables restaurant
The Wynwood Lebanese restaurant is preparing a Valencia Avenue location with a bar and space for private events.
Lira House is preparing a second location at 223 Valencia Avenue, the former Maroosh restaurant space in Coral Gables. The operator's current location page still says opening soon, and reservations are not yet available. Plans describe an indoor dining room, a full bar and an upstairs area for private events. The original Wynwood restaurant remains the active reservation option.
Private dining can give a neighborhood restaurant a second source of demand, especially around business meals and celebrations. That opportunity needs a sales process, menus and staffing plan before the room opens. Confirm the actual opening date before scheduling events or treating a proposed competitor as current capacity.
