Wicked Bread plans a Hollywood Broadwalk bakery
The Plantation bakery is targeting January 2027 for a small takeaway shop serving pastries, coffee and beach-friendly snacks.
Wicked Bread plans its second shop at 1209 North Broadwalk, with a January opening target. Co-owner Eddie Diaz told Business Debut the approximately 820-square-foot space will focus on walk-up orders. Cinnamon bread, Cuban pastries, empanadas and coffee are planned, along with cold drinks. Eddie and Betty Diaz built the business through farmers markets before opening their Plantation storefront.
A beachside takeaway shop depends on a different rhythm than a neighborhood bakery. Test packaging, queue space and how quickly a guest can order and leave. Compare the additional production and delivery work with the sales expected from the small second location.
