Magie opens its first Broward wine bar
The Miami wine bar has added a third location in Fort Lauderdale's Flagler Village.
Magie is now operating at 551 North Federal Highway, Suite 600. Caroline Strauss and chef Ivan Barros have brought the wine bar to a roughly 1,400-square-foot space after locations in Little River and Coconut Grove. The food includes charcuterie, escargot and truffle grilled cheese. Craft nights, singles events and local collaborations are part of the plan for the neighborhood.

Events can give guests a reason to return, but attendance alone does not show whether they work. Compare event sales with wine waste, food labor and the time spent organizing the evening. Expansion also needs clear responsibility for keeping service consistent across locations.
