Mercante targets January 2027 on the Miami River
Nicola Siervo's 175-seat Italian restaurant and piano bar is planned with a waterfront terrace, private dining and boat access.
Restaurateur Nicola Siervo is preparing Mercante Ristorante & Piano Bar at 404 NW North River Drive. Current plans call for 175 seats across an indoor dining room and waterfront terrace, Italian food, live piano, private dining and boat access. October 30 reporting moved the stated target to January 2027 after earlier coverage pointed to late 2026. An exact opening day has not been announced.
A large riverfront restaurant needs separate assumptions for the dining room, terrace, bar and private events. Model rainy days and boat arrivals rather than treating all 175 seats alike. Confirm the certificate of occupancy, licenses and hiring dates before counting January revenue.
