NAIA opens at the former Mango's site on Las Olas
The Restaurant People have added a 225-seat restaurant with sushi, robata cooking and private dining.
NAIA opened October 22 in a new building at 904 East Las Olas Boulevard. The Restaurant People's restaurant pairs Mediterranean and Asian influences, with chef Miguel Casanova and sushi chef Ped Phommavong leading the food. The 225-seat layout includes 45 patio seats and private dining. Dinner and happy hour are operating; lunch and brunch were still listed as coming soon when checked.
Sushi, live-fire cooking and cocktails place different demands on preparation and service timing. Rehearse those stations together so one busy section does not hold up the whole meal. Nearby operators should compare guest occasions and check averages as well as the menu.
