Hollywood's Diplomat joins Signia after an $80 million renovation
The 1,000-room resort's May conversion brought refreshed dining, public spaces and a new adults-only pool club.
The Diplomat Beach Resort became Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort on May 1, 2026. Hilton's release, updated October 14, describes an $80 million renovation of public areas and dining venues at the 1,000-room Hollywood property. The work includes six updated dining venues and The Verandah Social Club, which accepts reservations from hotel guests and local visitors. The resort retains more than 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
A large resort's repositioning can change the competition for group meals, local occasions and day visits. Nearby operators should compare the refreshed offers and identify where they can complement a group itinerary. Resort owners should assess each outlet's local and in-house demand separately when judging the return on renovation spending.
